BAKU: In a significant achievement at the European Championships in TeamGym, the Danish men’s junior team clinched their first gold medal, scoring an impressive 56.300 points. The event, held at the National Gymnastics Arena, also saw the Swedish and Norwegian teams taking home the silver and bronze medals respectively.

According to Trend News Agency, the competition, which spans from October 16-19, includes both junior and senior categories and is hosted in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Swedish team earned the silver with a score of 53.550, while the Norwegian team secured the bronze with 52.700 points.

TeamGym, promoted by the European Gymnastics Federation, involves a team competition format with performances on three different apparatuses: the TeamGym mat, the tumbling track, and the springboard. These elements combine to showcase the strength, agility, and teamwork of the participating groups, making the championships a highlight in the European gymnastics calendar.
