5,636 families settled in new apartments in the first half of the year. So many new apartments were commissioned during this period, the State Statistics Committee told Turan.

Total area of commissioned apartments is 786.400 square meters, 35% of which are built in rural areas. During the first half of the year, state commissions have not commissioned a single residential building built by private companies. At the expense of public funds, 378 apartments were built, the average area of which is 90.5 m2. The remaining 5,258 apartments were built at the expense of the population’s own funds.

In general, paces of housing construction lag behind the indices of the first half of 2021. The number of commissioned apartments this year dropped by 23.5%, and the total area – 15.2%.
