Baku:Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov has clarified the application of unified dress code rules in Azerbaijan's educational institutions. In an interview with APA, Gurbanov explained that these rules are specifically established for state general education institutions.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Deputy Minister stated that while private general education institutions are not bound by the same dress code rules, they may implement their own dress codes in line with their respective charters.
Gurbanov acknowledged that the differentiation in dress code policies between state and private schools might lead to mixed reactions from parents. He emphasized the importance of addressing these issues across all educational institutions to ensure student safety, uphold the right to education, and reinforce discipline. The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that a consistent application of these principles could positively influence the educational environment, making it healthier and more orderly.
