Baku: Nearly $2 billion has been allocated to youth education in Azerbaijan over the past five years, Anar Karimov, First Deputy Minister of Finance, announced during a session titled 'Youth Without Borders: A Driving Force for Shared Regional Prosperity.' This session was part of the Islamic Development Bank Annual Meetings held in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Karimov stated that approximately 70,000 young people have benefited from various educational programs during this period. He emphasized that in Islam, education is considered not only an economic investment but also an investment in human dignity, responsibility, and service to society. Karimov highlighted that Azerbaijan views investment in youth as an investment in young entrepreneurship, stressing the need for young entrepreneurs to have access to broader markets, greater freedom of movement, and stronger networks.
