Baku: Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov participated in the 14th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Science and Education reported this event to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting was co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov. Both ministers delivered speeches, appreciating the efforts made to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations. They exchanged views on how to expand cooperation into new areas.

At the conclusion of the event, a Protocol summarizing the outcomes of the meeting was signed by the co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
