Baku: The Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, emphasized the potential benefits of implementing joint projects with Chinese companies in the Karabakh region. During his speech at the Azerbaijan-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, he highlighted the ongoing infrastructure and construction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangezur. These efforts focus on utilizing advanced technologies to rebuild settlements under the smart city and smart village principles.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyev pointed out the substantial economic potential of the liberated territories, including industrial, agricultural, and tourism prospects. He mentioned the establishment of two industrial parks in these areas and the introduction of a comprehensive benefits package to encourage entrepreneurial endeavors. This package spans various areas such as taxation, customs, finance, utilities, green energy, labor migration, and housing construction. Aliyev expressed confidence that joint projects incorporating innovations and smart technologies would be advantageous for both Azerbaijan and Chinese partners during the reintegration process of these regions.
