Baku: The purposeful policy implemented by head of state has become a clear "road map" for young people, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov stated at the 11th Forum of Azerbaijani Youth.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Gurbanov emphasized that the foundation of Azerbaijan's youth policy is directly associated with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He noted that the attention and care shown by the National Leader toward young people led to the establishment of a robust legal framework for youth policy, alongside the adoption of key decrees and orders in this field. These measures provided strong impetus for the development of youth and played a significant role in their transformation into active members of society.

Gurbanov remarked on the challenging period during which the foundation of this policy was laid, highlighting the enduring faith and confidence in young people. "When I look at our youth today, I feel great pride. The opportunities you possess are the result of the strong foundations established during that period," he stated.

He further mentioned that this policy has been successfully continued and further developed by President Ilham Aliyev. The purposeful policy implemented by the head of state has become a clear 'roadmap' for young people. Gurbanov concluded by acknowledging the role of successful policy in restoring the country's territorial integrity and commending the bravery demonstrated by the youth during this historic process.
