Sofia: 'There is great potential for the further expansion of trade, economic, and mutual investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria,' stated Aleksandar Poulev, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria, during an official reception in Sofia celebrating Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aleksandar Poulev extended his congratulations to the Azerbaijani people on their Independence Day and underscored the significance of Azerbaijan as a reliable strategic partner for Bulgaria. He emphasized the role of Azerbaijan in diversifying Bulgaria's energy sources and enhancing regional energy security. Poulev also pointed out the strategic importance of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor and digital connectivity initiatives that link Europe and Asia, highlighting their role in strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
