Deputy Prosecutor General Highlights Importance of GlobE Network for Anti-Corruption Efforts

Baku: The Sixth Plenary Meeting of the United Nations Global Operational Network on Anti-Corruption (GlobE Network) has successfully concluded in Baku. Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Anti-Corruption Directorate, Nazim Rajabov, delivered a key speech at the event.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rajabov emphasized the significance of the GlobE Network as a crucial platform for enhancing international cooperation against corruption. He highlighted the role of the network in fostering collaboration and trust among nations, which is essential for effective anti-corruption measures.

The meeting was marked by over 100 speeches and more than 20 panel discussions, involving representatives from over 120 government institutions across 92 countries. Rajabov expressed gratitude to the UNODC Secretariat and the local organizing committee for their efforts in organizing the event. He reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to contributing to the global fight against corruption.
