Design of Five Villages in Kalbajar Completed, Construction Ongoing for Three Others

Kalbajar: The design works for the villages of Otagli, Zar, Gamishli, Zallar, and Yanshag in Kalbajar have been completed and submitted for expert review, according to Bashir Hajiyev, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar district. This announcement was made during the event titled 'Lachin and Kalbajar: The Road from Urbicide to Post-Conflict Reconstruction' held within the framework of WUF13.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the measures implemented aim to create a safe living environment in the liberated territories and accelerate the return process. Construction works for the first phase of Kalbajar city have been completed, and residential apartments have already been put into operation. Concurrently, the design and expert review stages for the second, third, and fourth residential neighborhoods are ongoing. The design for the villages of Chaykend, Chapli, and Dallakli is also in progress.

The design works for administrative buildings in Kalbajar city, covering areas of 2.42 hectares and 10.1 hectares, are continuing. Plans are underway for the construction of the Occupation and Victory Museums Complex in Kalbajar. Additionally, construction works on the educational complex in Kalbajar city are ongoing.
