Baku:Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Toghrul Aliyev recently met with Katarzyna Pawlak, Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance Centre, to discuss the development of microfinance and financial inclusion in the country.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting involved discussions on the steps taken by the Central Bank to enhance entrepreneurship and microfinance in Azerbaijan. Strategic priorities for financial inclusion and prospects for incorporating innovations and technological solutions in the financial sector were also addressed.

The exchange further included discussions on the role of non-bank credit institutions in the financial sector and business development. The parties emphasized the significance of strengthening cooperation between international partners and regulatory authorities to expand the activities of these institutions.
