Diaspora activists represent Azerbaijan in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – VIDEO

Azerbaijani diaspora activists living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) hve represented Azerbaijan with distinction at the Alagadi festival, APA reports.

The festival was organized by Mayor of Chatalkoy-Esentepe municipality Jeyhun Kirok.

The event was opened by the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, Chatalkoy-Esentepe municipality Mayor Jeyhun Kirok, TRNC Minister of Tourism Fikri Ataoglu, and diaspora activist Fuad Safaraliyev.

Diaspora activist and businessman Fuad Safaraliyev, who set up the Azerbaijani corner at the festival site, stated that Azerbaijan was well represented at the event, which was attended by more than five thousand people.

According to him, participants showed great interest in the Azerbaijani corner. President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar has also visited the Azerbaijani corner and posed for a commemorative photo.
