Baku: Renowned artist Ziya Shikhlinski has begun filming a short documentary to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani writer Yusif Samadoghlu. The announcement was made by the Union of Azerbaijani Cinematographers.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the filming of the documentary will take place in Baku and Gazakh. The production will feature contributions from People's Writer Anar, literary scholar Intigam Mehdizade, and local intellectuals from Gazakh, who will share insights into Samadoghlu's life and work.

The 90th anniversary celebration of Yusif Samadoghlu follows an order issued by the President of Azerbaijan on September 4, 2025, highlighting the significance of the writer's contributions to Azerbaijani literature and culture.
