Donald Trump Highlights Azerbaijan-Armenia Peace Efforts

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about relations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, APA reports. He addressed the issue during the first meeting of the 'Board of Peace.'

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Trump stated, "I think they became friends. They are tough, but good people. They slowly moved toward each other, then they embraced and signed peace," referring to the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Trump claimed he had "ended a 32-year conflict within 24 hours." He also expressed his gratitude to both leaders for moving toward peace.
