In connection with the beginning of the new academic year, Baku State University (BSU) has strengthened control over the medical and preventive situation, disinfection and preventive measures are being carried out.

This was reported to AZERTAC by BSU. It was noted that the university’s entrance doors, courtyards, auditoriums, bathrooms, corridors, dormitories, etc. Awareness posters, signs and indicators on COVID-19 infection control methods were placed. Automated temperature measuring devices and monitoring the use of medical masks have been installed at the entrance doors, in specially designated areas of educational buildings, research institutes and dormitories.

The commission was established to organize operative control over the observance of the requirements of the “Temporary Rules for the organization of teaching and educational process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime” in accordance with the internal action plan. – Strengthened control over the implementation of all necessary measures to ensure compliance with the requirements for the organization of the educational process. Polyclinic No. 30 has been allocated two special rooms for the isolation of students suspected of being infected with COVID-19, and has been provided with the necessary funds and equipment. Doctors of the polyclinic will regularly hold educational events for students to combat COVID-19.
