EAERA and EMRA Continue Collaborative Efforts with Online Meeting

Baku: Another online meeting was held between the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Trkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) within the framework of the 2025-2026 Inter-Forum Action Plan of the 'Regulations' Working Group under the Azerbaijan-Trkiye IV Energy Forum.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included not only specialists from AERA and EMRA but also representatives from the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azeristiliktechizat OJSC. The working group's co-chairs, Elmar Gulaliyev and Mustafa Yavuzdemir, highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation and the exchange of experiences, noting the potential for continued collaborative efforts in the energy sector.

During the session, Ibrahim Ahmadov, Advisor to the Chairman of Azeristiliktechizat OJSC, presented on 'Sustainable Heating and Energy Efficiency in Azerbaijan (Policies, Regulation, Practice, Challenges, Opportunities).' Additionally, Shafa Suleymanli, Chief Adviser of the Hydrogen and Green Technologies Department at the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency, delivered a presentation titled 'Accelerating the Transition to E-Mobility: The Experience of Azerbaijan.'

The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, followed by an exchange of views among the participants, fostering a deeper understanding of the shared challenges and opportunities in the energy sector.
