Earthquake Hits Azerbaijan’s Guba


Guba: An earthquake has occurred in Azerbaijan’s Guba, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismic Survey Center told APA. It is noted that the earthquake was recorded 14 km southwest of the Guba station in the Guba district. The 3.2 magnitude earthquake was not felt.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the earthquake took place without causing any noticeable tremors in the surrounding areas. The epicenter was located at a significant distance from populated regions, which contributed to the lack of impact felt by residents. Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure public safety and gather more data regarding the seismic activity.
