An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred on Saturday in Azerbaijan.
The tremors were recorded at 10:40 a.m. local time in Hajigabul district, 18 km northwest of Shirvan station, the Republican Seismological Center at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan reported.
The earthquake was located at a depth of 22 km, no tremors were felt on the surface.
