Seismological Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan recoded recorded earthquake tremors with magnitude 3.1 at 11:25 am in Lerik (border with Iran). Epicenter was at a depth of 28 km.

At 6:25, earthquakes with magnitude 3.6 were recorded northwest of Imishli region. Epicentre was at a depth of 52 km.

It has to be kept in mind that a few hours earlier, a magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck southern Iran. Epicentre was near the port of Bandar Abbas. Focus was at a depth of 10 km. No casualties or damage were reported
