In a post on X, she emphasized the EU's vision for the region and her intent to enhance the partnership between the EU and Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, von der Leyen's post highlighted the EU's belief in a promising future for the South Caucasus, describing it as connected, peaceful, and prosperous. She expressed the EU's willingness to contribute to building this envisioned future and underscored her mission to strengthen the EU-Azerbaijan partnership across various sectors, including trade, transport, energy, and the economy.
