Baku: The Electronic Security Service (ESS) has released a statement addressing the operational issues currently affecting websites nationwide. The ESS highlighted that a significant technical malfunction is occurring within the global network of Cloudflare, a provider of international cybersecurity services. This disruption has led to widespread interruptions in internet services, resulting in limited access to various online resources within the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ESS clarified that this issue is not linked to the local infrastructure or the national internet network. The root cause of the disruption lies in the technical problems experienced within Cloudflare’s international network, impacting numerous users around the world.

Cloudflare has also acknowledged the malfunction and issued a statement regarding the issue. The company stated that it is actively investigating the global malfunction affecting several clients and is working towards resolving the problems to restore normalcy.
