Eleven Polish Diplomats Evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan Border with Families

Baku: Eleven Polish diplomats operating in Iran, along with their family members, have been successfully evacuated from the country through the Azerbaijan border. This strategic evacuation was facilitated via the Astara state border checkpoint.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the evacuation also included more than 10 Azerbaijani citizens, 2 Canadian citizens, around 20 Chinese citizens, 1 Tajik citizen, 6 Pakistani citizens, and 4 Iranian citizens. These individuals were part of a larger group that was transported safely across the border amidst growing concerns in the region.

The successful evacuation underscores the collaborative efforts between the involved nations to ensure the safety and security of their citizens. The Astara state border checkpoint played a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transit of these individuals out of Iran.
