Baku: Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are becoming a unique link in ensuring connectivity between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, Jangeldi Ualybekov, adviser to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, said during an international roundtable titled 'Azerbaijan as a Logistics Hub of Eurasia: Harmonizing the Interests of the EAEU and the South Caucasus,' APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the logistics sector is rapidly developing. Ualybekov highlighted joint efforts in electronic management of cargo transportation, localization of customs and logistics processes for export cargo, and the development of port infrastructure at Aktau, Kuryk, and Baku. Additionally, there is an ongoing expansion of land terminal capacities and modernization of the transport fleet.
The adviser emphasized that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan play a special role in strengthening connectivity between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, positioning themselves as crucial logistics partners in the region.
