In connection with the expected sharp change in weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan appealed to the population of the country.

A message published on the agency’s website indicates that from the evening of September 2 to the morning of September 4, a sharp change in weather conditions, an increase in wind is expected in Azerbaijan, in some places forecasters predict rain and thunderstorms.

In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations urges the population to be careful, strictly observe the relevant safety rules and not go outside unless absolutely necessary in order to avoid threats caused by strong winds.

Taking into account the complexity of extinguishing fires in strong windy weather, it is also recommended to strictly observe fire safety rules. In case of danger, it is recommended to call the Emergency Situations Ministry’s hotline “112”.
