Associate Professor in the Laboratory of Parasitology in the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Asif Manafov and scientific secretary of the institute, Ph.D. in biology, associate professor Sara Aliyeva went on a business trip together with the Working group under the organization of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan in order to ensure conducting physical-chemical and biological monitoring in Okhchuchay flowing through Zangilan region, the Institute told APA.

In accordance with the joint Action plan, complex scientific-research works were carried out in the Okhchuchay basin, which is a transboundary river, and materials related to hydrations are collected. Analysis of materials is carried out in relevant institutions represented in the working group, including the Institute of Zoology.
