Baku: Specialists from the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Trkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) engaged in an online meeting as part of the 2025-2026 Inter-Forum Action Plan of the 'Regulations' Working Group within the Azerbaijan-Trkiye IV Energy Forum.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting featured a presentation by EMRA energy specialist Muhammet Ali Ates, who shared insights on Trkiye's methods for electricity market monitoring. He elaborated on the strategies employed for supervising the wholesale electricity market, the investigation of abuse cases, and the imposition of fines.

The meeting concluded with an interactive session allowing participants to ask questions and seek clarifications on the topics discussed.
