“On February 15, in the day time it was observed that illegal Armenian armed detachments were carrying out excavations for the engineering preparation of the trench under the guise of agricultural work in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed,” the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

“As a result of urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army units, the work was immediately prevented,” the ministry added.
