Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Condemns Iran’s Attack in Call with Azerbaijani President

Baku: Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali made a phone call to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on March 7, expressing condemnation of Iran's air attack on Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the conversation, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali voiced strong disapproval of the aggression and reiterated Ethiopia's support for Azerbaijan. President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the call and the solidarity shown by Ethiopia.

The leaders also reminisced about the Ethiopian Prime Minister's recent official visit to Azerbaijan. They expressed optimism that the discussions and agreements made during that visit would significantly enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
