According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the report highlights the assessment by international officials of potential venues in Azerbaijan for canoe and rowing competitions. The focus was on infrastructure, training, and future events to support the development of paddle sports in the region.

Several locations in Azerbaijan were evaluated as potential venues for competitions and training, including the Mingachevir Reservoir, the Kura River, and Sugovushan. The assessment centered on the technical conditions and infrastructure of these sites.

The visit also encompassed discussions on attracting events and developing the sport further in Azerbaijan. A cooperation agreement was signed to support training and the introduction of new disciplines. Officials indicated that improved facilities and growing athlete performance could significantly contribute to hosting future international competitions.
