Brussels: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will visit Azerbaijan and Armenia on July 1-2, announced European Commission spokesperson Paula Pinho during a briefing in Brussels, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press Nws Aency, the purpose of the visit is to express Europe's support. The President of the European Commission will engage in discussions regarding the peaceful settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Additionally, the visit will focus on the European Union's investments in the transport infrastructure of these nations, aiming to transform them into a corridor from Central Asia to Europe.
