Amsterdam: Natural gas prices in Europe saw a significant increase of nearly 2% at the close of auctions yesterday, as the price for 1,000 cubic meters of gas surpassed $397.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the price for October futures on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands), the most liquid virtual sales center in Europe, was recorded at $397.2. This represents a 1.7% increase from the previous calculation price of $390.7.
It is important to note that Azerbaijani gas has been transported to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) since December 31, 2020, providing a crucial supply route for the continent.
