Davos: European Union stands ready to support Azerbaijan's efforts in projects related to the restoration of the Nakhchivan railway line. Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, expressed this commitment during a meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Marta Kos also highlighted the EU's willingness to assist Azerbaijan in humanitarian demining initiatives. The discussions took place in Davos, where both parties explored avenues for enhancing infrastructure and ensuring safe transit in the region. The restoration of the Nakhchivan railway line is seen as a significant step in improving connectivity and economic growth for Azerbaijan.
