Lachin: On the occasion of September 27 – Remembrance Day, a large-scale event themed ‘Unforgettable Traces of the Victory Road’ was held in the Lachin district. The event was organized by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Lachin district and saw the participation of various dignitaries and residents.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event was attended by the heads of the district’s State Security Service, police department, Lachin District Central Hospital, ‘Lachin Improvement Service’ LLC, and representatives of management and enterprise collectives. Families of martyrs, veterans, and district residents were also present to mark the solemn occasion.

The event commenced with a visit to the Alley of Martyrs. During the memorial event, Masim Mammadov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district, delivered the opening speech. The official part of the event involved honoring the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with a one-minute silence, followed by the playing of the State Anthem.

The day concluded with a commemorative feast organized in the area called Seyrengah in Lachin in honor of the martyrs. Additionally, throughout the day, families of the martyrs were visited and gifts were presented to them.
