Excise rates of drinking alcohol, vodka, liqueur, and cognac are being increased, according to the amendment proposed to Tax Code discussed at the first meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, APA reports.

According to the draft, excise rate applied to per liter of drinking alcohol (including non-denatured ethyl alcohol containing less than 80% alcohol, non-denatured ethyl alcohol containing less than 80% alcohol), vodka, strong drinks, and strong beverage materials, liqueur and liqueur products, cognac and cognac materials
