Baku: Farmers in Azerbaijan will be informed about the production of organic agricultural products in 2026-2030, APA-Economics reports. This initiative is part of the 'State Program on the development of production and processing sectors of agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030.'

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the program outlines an assessment of the country's production capacity for organic agricultural products, with a focus on identifying potential products and regions. Awareness-raising and promotional activities are planned for farmers in the selected regions. Additionally, pilot organic farms and training programs will be organized to support these efforts.

The program also aims to establish exemplary farm models related to organic agriculture across the country. This initiative seeks to increase farmers' level of awareness regarding organic farming, thereby enhancing the overall production and processing sectors in Azerbaijan.
