“COVID-19 will not eradicate from the world, it will become a common flu virus,” said specialist of the Ministry of Health, therapist Zakir Guliyev, APA reports.

He has noted that because the virus often mutates, and vaccines cannot completely control the disease: “Infection cases are recorded after vaccination. It was noted before that the vaccine will not protect a person 100 per cent from the disease. However, the number of patients hospitalized has decreased. There is an incredible difference between those infected and those hospitalized. Most of those hospitalized are unvaccinated.”
