Baku: One of the most promising areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan could be cooperation in critical infrastructure protection and energy security, Ukrainian political scientist Vladislav Olenchenko said in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the talks between the two countries' Presidents in Baku, special attention was paid to exchanging experience in modern technologies for protecting energy facilities, including countering unmanned aerial vehicles. Ukraine has acquired significant practical experience in this area and is ready to discuss options for technological cooperation and joint projects with Azerbaijan, the expert noted.
The expert emphasized that Kyiv's willingness to share such technologies demonstrates the high level of trust between the two countries. According to Olenchenko, countries that can effectively ensure the security of their energy and infrastructure systems will attract more investment, technology, and international partners.
