Baku: An explosion occurred at a facility on Ahmad Rajabli Street in the Narimanov district of Baku, resulting in injuries to several individuals, APA reports. The incident, which took place around 09:00, has led to five people being hospitalized at the Clinical Medical Center.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Clinical Medical Center reported that one man suffered from a thermal burn, while four others, including one man and three women, sustained multiple injuries in various parts of their bodies. The patients are currently receiving treatment, and their condition is described as moderate to severe.
The explosion has prompted a response from local authorities. Police officers have been dispatched to the site to secure the area and implement necessary safety measures, as confirmed by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to APA.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received preliminary information about the explosion via their ‘112’ hotline. In response, the State Fire Protection Service, the Special Risky Rescue Service, and forces from the Baku Regional Center were deployed to the affected area.
