Export of Russian oil to China hit a record

The export of oil and condensate from Russia to China over the past month reached its highest level since April 2020, exceeding 1.5 million barrels per day, Bloomberg reports, citing data from the analytical company “Kpler”.

 

Oil and condensate flow from Russia to China rose to 1.52 million barrels per day as of Feb. 20, according to Kpler data, slightly short of the record set nearly three years ago.

 

So, according to Bloomberg, in April 2020 this figure was about 1.6 million barrels per day. A year earlier, in January 2022, exports to China were 0.9 million barrels per day
