Farm animals purchased for 600 unemployed

On December 19, the State Employment Agency concluded a contract for purchase of cows, sheep, etc., from abroad for implementation of the self-employment program. However, the agency, somehow, concealed information about the number of purchased small and large cattle.

The cost of goods purchased from “Agro Best” (TIN: 1405235391) is 4 million 140.900 manats ($2,435.000). The term of execution of the contract is until November 30 next year.

IA Turan made a request to both the tender commission and the GAZ press service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Population.

The tender commission acknowledged that the requirement of the legislation on disclosure of information on the number of purchased goods was violated, but, at the same time, it evaded to answer. The press service of the department replied in writing, where this information is also missing. GAZ notes that “in the post-war period, one of the most important tasks is to ensure the employment of family members of martyrs, war invalids and other vulnerable segments of the population is the creation of small farms and their integration into the labor market. For this to happen, a purchase was made to provide 600 citizens of this category with agricultural goods.”

It ought to be noted that in April this year, the GAZ and CJSC “Agro Best” (in the consortium of CJSC “Az Nest”, TIN: 1005400781) signed a similar agreement in the amount of 65 million 987.500 manats ($38.8 million).

At that, the agency kept secret the number of purchased small and large cattle, as was the case under the first contract
