Istanbul: Fenerbah§e President Sadettin Saran has been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison, NTV reports. A verdict has been issued in the criminal case against Saran, who was tried for encouraging illegal betting.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Saran was found guilty and has been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
