Yerevan: FIFA has fined the Armenian Football Federation 13,000 Swiss francs ($16,000), said the organization’s press service, Apasport.az reports. The fines are a result of various incidents involving the Armenian national team during recent international matches.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the fine includes 12,000 Swiss francs related to the team’s inappropriate behavior, violation of discipline and safety rules, and fans attempting to enter the field during a match against the Portuguese national team. This incident raised concerns about security and adherence to international football regulations.

Additionally, the Armenian Football Federation faces an extra fine of 1,000 Swiss francs due to incidents occurring during a match with Ireland. The specific nature of these incidents has not been detailed, but they contributed to the overall penalty imposed by FIFA.
