Baku: ‘The Journey of Our Love,’ a film jointly produced by Azerbaijani and Israeli filmmakers with organizational support from the Israel-Azerbaijan International Association (AZIZ), was screened at Magsud Ibrahimbayov’s Creative Center, APA reports. The event saw the participation of notable figures from the public and artistic spheres.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the film, crafted by Israel’s Shlomi, explores the enduring love story between an Ashkenazi Jew of Azerbaijani origin and a Muslim Azerbaijani, while also highlighting the friendship between the peoples of Israel and Azerbaijan. Mikhail and Yegana Salman, who are the film’s protagonists, currently live in Israel and have played a role in strengthening the ties between Azerbaijan and Israel as diaspora activists.

Rufat Asadov from Azerbaijan took on the roles of writer and director for the film, with Shaul Siman-Tov from Israel serving as the producer. The cinematography team included Royal Guluzade, Vusal Nazimoglu, and Sarkhan Madatli from Azerbaijan.
