"The final text of the "Host Country" Agreement to be signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will be ready soon, taking into account the opinions of relevant state bodies," Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Samir Nuriyev said on July 8 at the fifth meeting of the Committee, APA reports. Speaking about Azerbaijan's priorities for COP29, Samir Nuriyev mentioned that an initial list of 14 initiatives has been prepared based on proposals from various state institutions and through intensive discussions with the UN and other international organizations.
