Baku: The strategic importance of the Middle Corridor is steadily increasing amid geopolitical challenges, and Azerbaijan is one of the key links of this route, Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at the Business Forum organized within the framework of the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency,Azerbaijan is currently a country making very significant investments in infrastructure. The nation has achieved important progress in developing its highways, railways, air transport, and water transport sectors. Amid current geopolitical difficulties, the Middle Corridor's role is becoming increasingly vital, as it traverses through Azerbaijan.
The Middle Corridor serves as a bridge connecting Asia with Europe and linking the Caspian Sea with the Black Sea. It also offers alternative routes in various directions, further enhancing Azerbaijan's strategic position on the global stage.
