Florence: Fiorentina have announced the passing of their President, Rocco Commisso, aged 76, Apasport.az reports. Rocco Commisso, who was the President of Serie A club Fiorentina and also the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Mediacom, has died.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Serie A side announced their President's passing in a statement on Saturday morning. It is reported that Commisso passed away after a prolonged illness. To honor his memory, the team's 'Viola Park' training center will be named after Commisso.
