Fire breaks out at Azot plant after Russian shelling

Russian shelling of the Azot chemical plant in Ukraine’s Severodonetsk ignited a massive fire, said Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Regional Military Civil Administration, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The fire broke out after missiles hit radiators from which oil leaked, Haidai explained, adding that “very powerful battles” are currently taking place in Severodonetsk.

The news comes after the official said the Ukrainian military is still holding out and that Russian troops have not surrounded the plant.
