Baku: A large fire has broken out in open areas near Gulabli village in Azerbaijan's Aghdam district, APA reports. The fire spread across a wide area within a short period due to strong winds. The flames are currently advancing toward forested areas in the mountainous terrain near Gulabli village.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, employees of the Aghdam district units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire Protection Service are continuing operations to contain and extinguish the fire.
