Today, the first meeting of the Organizing Committee, established in accordance with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the holding of the 74th International Astronautical Congress in Baku on October 2-6, 2023, was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ali Asadov, who opened the meeting with his opening speech, said that the congress held in Paris for the first time in 1950 is considered the most prestigious event in the space field in the world.

Then, the Digital Development and Transport Minister, and deputy chairman of the Organizing Committee Rashad Nabiyev delivered a large presentation about the work done in preparation for the congress and the implementation of the Action Plan.
