First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva Inspects Reconstruction at Ganja City Secondary School No.37


Ganja: First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, accompanied by her daughter Arzu Aliyeva, visited Ganja city secondary school No. 37 to oversee the reconstruction efforts being managed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Anar Alakbarov, and the Head of Ganja City Executive Authority, Niyazi Bayramov, shared updates on the progress of the reconstruction. The school, originally built in 1969 to serve over 700 students, has been under extensive renovation since September 2024 due to its declining condition. The project is anticipated to be completed by September this year, aligning with the start of the new academic year.



The Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues to emphasize its dedication to education by planning the completion of construction and renovation of multiple schools in Baku and other regions for the upcoming academic year. Since its inception, the foundation has focused on educational advancement through initiatives like ‘New School for a Renewing Azerbaijan’ and ‘Support for Education’. These efforts, in conjunction with state-led projects to upgrade school facilities, aim to enhance education quality nationwide.
